The neo-Gothic chapel, dedicated to Saint Catherine, was designed by architect Cornelis Petrus (Kees) van Genk (1838-1914) from Bergen op Zoom. The chapel was consecrated in 1895. The Saint Catherine Chapel was enlarged in 1932 and 1933 and renovated in 2012. The chapel is a national monument. The entrance to the chapel can be reached via Klaverstraat. The chapel is open on Sunday mornings for a service.

The chapel displays many statues and a beautiful Stations of the Cross. The stained-glass windows are very impressive, including an apparition of Our Lady to Bernadette in Lourdes in 1858.
