In one of the most remarkable global cities stands, behind thick grilles, a Lourdes grotto with a striking number of rosaries. The grotto is built within the Crkva Sv. Ignacija (St. Ignatius Church). It is a Baroque Jesuit church dating from the early 18th century. The church also features beautiful frescoes and statues. The place of worship can be accessed via a Baroque staircase on a high plateau, close to the city walls.

After visiting the grotto of Lourdes, I will go to the Church of the Franciscans of the Friars Minor. The church was built in the 15th century and boasts an incredibly rich interior.

Afterwards, I will visit the Dominican Monastery to go to the museum. There are many large paintings of Mary and Saint Nicholas on display, including some polyptychs. A part of the Dubrovnik school of painting is exhibited there. The works date from the 15th and 16th centuries.
Finally, the St. Blasius Church and the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady are on the programme.
