Relics

Relics are remains from the body of a saint or from an object used by that person. They can also be substances with which the saint came into contact, such as clothing, tools, or a house. Relics are often small, but they are representative of the saint.

The veneration of a relic is important in faith. The relic brings the memory of the saint closer and is an invitation for the believer to follow the saint's example. Being in the presence of the relic is also an opportunity for the believer to invoke their intercession with God.

There are not many relics of Mary, but there is one very large relic, namely the house in which She lived in Nazareth, which is located in Loreto, Italy.
