Unborn

Dear Maria,

Protecting the unborn child is coming under increasing pressure.
All sorts of images flash through my mind.
Removing an unborn child from the womb means the death of the child.
This is an immoral act that brings an end to a human life.
The killing of defenceless children in the womb touches my heart so deeply.

In an increasing number of countries, abortion is being removed from criminal law.
Then I'm thinking of the commandment “thou shalt not kill”.
I also have the thought that the physical and psychological consequences of abortion are underestimated.

Mary, help defenceless children and women with child.
