Be still and
recessed into the sides
the eyes unmoving
Hands together
as a ingrained habit
years ago
Learned from parents

So much is happening
to process
after understanding
What is it made of
Said and heard
in many places of pilgrimage

words of Mary
are only now penetrating
to me through

I'm standing up
Make the sign of the cross
Pick up the rosary
It's time
voor een gebed
In other words
until the woman
lend me your ear
